Mauricio Pita

Award-winning Venezuelan American producer, director, actor, and creative. Projects include Inside Voices and Waiting Room, a set of feature docudrama films devised with the Voices of Now ensembles at Arena Stage.

Stage work includes Voices of Now plays, ENOUGH! Plays to end gun violence, Ana and her Shadow (IN Series Opera), Blood Wedding (GALA Hispanic Theater).Co-producer of the WHUT/PBS special Youth Voices & Covid-19. 

The multimedia projects Ophee et Eurydice (filmed in the UK), the audio play: A Fairy Queen, and the multimedia piece Boheme in The Heights (INSeries Opera.) Executive producer and Actor in Safe Word (Official selection at InsideOut Toronto and Academy Award-qualifying PIFF) and Actor in You, Me, Bathroom, Sex, Now (Official selection at 2015 Cannes International Film Festival and Winner of Best of Festival at Palm Springs Shortfest).
